EfficientGrip Performance Tyres description & features

The Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance is a premium summer touring tyre focused on improving wet braking and lowering rolling resistance. It features ActiveBraking technology which uses 3-dimensional tread blocks to increase surface area contact. Goodyear’s use of a silica compound on the tread improves grip on wet roads. FuelSaving technology reduces the energy loss within the tyre build, offering less rolling resistance and improved Fuel saving.

Goodyear replaced this line with the EfficientGrip Performance 2 in 2020. This next-gen tyre also has improvements in the summer touring capacity. EU labels vary by size, showing a maximum Fuel Efficiency class of B, Wet Grip class of A and an external noise class of 68 dB for the available versions. It also has an XL reinforced construction for vehicles with a higher load capacity. We supply the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance at Tyres.co.uk.

Initially, I was a bit uncertain because of the price. I could've opted for less expensive tyres, and they were rated lower for grip, wear, noise and economy. In the end, I'm glad I went with the Goodyear Efficientgrip tyres. I've noticed a 5-10% improvement in our fuel consumption. Tyre grip is great in all conditions and they are much quieter than the previous ones. I've only changed the front pair for now, but I'm sure once the back ones wear out, we'll go with the same brand again.

I have this tyre as it was included when I bought my VW Polo, and I expected it to perform well, and I have not been disappointed. I purchased it to replace another tyre that I could not repair after it was punctured, and that occurred with less than 6000 miles on it. Although it is mounted on the front, I am optimistic about exceeding 20000 miles on this one.

Excellent choice for my Skoda Superb 170 TDI. Great traction for spirited driving apart from very poor conditions, and they show minimal wear. They are quiet, except for rough surfaces like some parts of the M25. Overall, very happy. I purchased this tyre to replace another one that had a sidewall problem that couldn't be repaired in a safe manner.

Since putting these tyres on my car, the handling on the country roads that I drive on has improved significantly.
