Fiat Punto Tyres
The Fiat Punto is a supermini that needs good urban and A road commuter and intercity tyres. Wet grip tyres offer improved safety when driving on UK roads. Tyres with a touring pattern offer a smooth ride at the expense of increased noise and reduced economy. Light and practical design offered by the Fiat Punto allows easy manoeuvrability and predictable grip for urban driving and less demanding weekend trips.
Tyre size is dependent on generation, Punto trim, engine type as well as factory wheels. The sidewall of the existing tyre, vehicle handbook and registration should help with determining proper fitment. To maintain handling, comfort and safety of the particular Fiat Punto, the correct tyres must meet load and speed ratings.
Tyres.co.uk provides a convenient way for Fiat Punto owners to compare and buy tyres based on criteria such as price and performance, and also organises a convenient tyre fit and balanced at a local shop.

Tyre review for Avon ZT7 165/65R14
Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 175/60R15
I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 165/65R15
So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecowing ES31 215/60R16
The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 225/50R17
Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.
Bonnie-Rose Eathan
Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16
Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 235/60R18
They perform well in all weather conditions, and they in particular excel in rainy weather.

On Tyres.co.uk, Fiat Punto tyre options for the Punto Classic 1.2 8V (14-inch wheels) with the Michelin Energy Saver+ and Bridgestone Turanza T005 in 165/70 R14 81T are available. Please ensure your registration is correct as the load index and speed rating for the various generations of the Punto and the factory-fitted wheels differ.
The size of the tyres fitted to your Punto is clearly marked on each tyre sidewall. The factory-fitted tyre pressure placard is situated in the fuel filler flap. It is recommended you check the wheel and tyre specifications of your unit against the handbook rather than use a general list of Punto sizes.
It isn't necessary to change all four tyres on a Punto. Since all versions of the Punto are front-wheel drive, there is no need to change tyres in identical pairs of axles, and you can change tyres on the front and rear axles whenever necessary. If you are complying with the tyre safety guidance of the UK and plan to fit two new tyres, you should place the new tyres on the rear axle.
