175/70 R14 is an older small car tyre size that is also found on compact vans in C-marked form. 175/70 R14 can also break down as follows: 175 denotes the tyre width in mm, 70 is the aspect ratio of the tyre which indicates that the height of the sidewall is 70% of 175mm (or 122mm), R denotes a radial tyre, and 14 means that the tyre is made for a 14-inch rim, leading to an overall diameter of the tyre being 601mm.
