A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.
The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).

The Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2 summer tyre features Wet Grip Technology which is specifically geared towards being shorter at wet braking under warm and wet conditions. This is the result of a tread compound with increased mobility. Goodyear has designed the EfficientGrip Compact 2 to include a casing that adds stiffness. This casing holds the tyre's shape while steering, cornering, and braking, and is supported by a reshaped inner tyre cavity. The EfficientGrip Compact 2 tyre replaces the EfficientGrip Compact tyre model in Goodyear’s line.
