The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport RS is a Summer tyre made for street use with a focus on track performance. It is made with a rubber compound that is derived from track and race use rubber and designed for dry warm track use with extreme grip. This is made possible thanks to the continuous shoulder design and stiff sidewall. Because track use requires extreme grip and quick changes of direction the tyre is designed to resist flex and feature a durable casing and sidewall. The SuperSport RS is also made with a unique drainage design where most of the grooves are placed in the inner section leaving the outer edge solid rubber.
The SuperSport RS also features Porsche approved versions of some of its products with the N0 marking on the sidewall. The N0 marking shows that it was made to Porsche specifications to be placed on Porsche cars. If a tyre being replaced also has an N0 marking, replacing it with a tyre that has an N0 marking also retains the Porsche specification.
