The Goodyear UltraGrip Cargo is a winter van tyre designed for loaded commercial vehicles that need impressive snow traction and braking on wet roads. It uses a dense tread pattern for more biting edges. Goodyear's Cargo Winter Grip Technology utilises a lot of small blocks and micro slits on the tread surface to form the needed edges for snow traction and braking. Goodyear’s Cargo Aquaplaning Technology also features tread channels that are wide and run circumferentially on the tyre to remove water and slush from the contact patch. A robust tyre casing is used to carry the load of a commercial vehicle and support the tread during cornering.
3PMSF (the three-peak mountain snow flake) is the mark that designates that the tyre meets the performance standard for snow grip, and the M+S designation is for mud and snow. Both of these designations are on the sidewall. This model debuted in 2019 to replace the Cargo UltraGrip 2, Goodyear's previous van winter tyre.
