Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV summer tyres have been designed incorporating road efficiency and saving technology. The tyres enhance performance in both wet and dry conditions thanks to the incorporation of silicon in the tread and a technology that improves braking performance by increasing the contact surface. An ActiveBraking Technology improves the braking performance of the tyres by increasing the surface contact of the tread pattern with the road.

Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV tyres have the option of a reinforced sidewall for SUV’s and other vehicles that have higher load requirements. I'm having trouble with these tyres since they need to be pumped every 3-4 weeks and rebalanced regularly. Even when they are not being used, one or more of these tyres will lose nearly 1 bar of air pressure after a couple of weeks, and I cannot find any visible damage or signs of a puncture.

From the first drive all speed range grip was noted and turning response was improved. The noise dampening was improved and with all town driving done I noted a large improvement in MPG. On another round trip driving 500 miles the noise was much quieter again and the mpg improved yet again. At approximately £100 per tyre they are worth the money.
