Mitsubishi Shogun Tyres

The Mitsubishi Shogun is a sizeable 4x4 SUV, with models made in three- and five-door styles. The Mitsubishi Shogun tyre should provide traction, braking, high control and low noise in response to constant changing road conditions and driving style. Offered Mitsubishi Shogun tyres should also be within the load index and speed rating for the intended purpose of the vehicle.

Each generation, model year, trim, and engine of the Mitsubishi Shogun has different factory wheel options, and therefore different tyre sizes. As such, you cannot assume the same fitment for each version. The correct tyre size, load index, speed rating, are found on the tyre sidewall, vehicle handbook, or vehicle registration details of the Mitsubishi Shogun. Correctly matched specifications also improve handling, comfort and safety for the occupants.

Tyres.co.uk allows Mitsubishi Shogun owners to see the available tyres and their pricing and performance in each brand, and also schedule an installation appointment at the closest garage. This allows the owners to ensure that the specifications for the intended fitment and primary use of the Mitsubishi Shogun are easily adhered to.

The tyres grip the road well regardless of wet or dry conditions. I do a lot of towing and even field work and I have no complaints. After a year of use, they appear to be wearing down at a reasonable rate.

Great. My previous tyres constantly received punctures but since I have not had a single one, and they look great. I just got a new truck and I am looking forward to have these tyres on it again.

These tyres are amazing, and I feel confident driving in any weather conditions. I live in a cottage on a remote Scottish hillside and these tyres always get me home, snow, ice, mud and heavy rain are no problem for these tyres. I've had them for a year and they show no signs of wear.

Works well in the rain, however, can be unreliable in colder temperatures because the rubber will harden which lessens grip.

I have experienced no problems with these tyres in dry, wet, snowy, or muddy off-road scenarios. They're also surprisingly quieter than tyres from other brands I have used.

Exceeded my expectations. The best high speed 4x4 tyres I have used. Excellent grip on snow and very good performance on icy roads. They give you even more confidence in bad weather and handle fast dry corners superbly.

I am delighted with these tyres! They replaced my previous Michelin road tyres and are still equally as quiet over different road surfaces. I have not experienced any problems with them even in muddy fields. They are more than capable in rough and bumpy terrain and my car performs just as well as it used to on all-road. It feels great to have purchased a good quality British product at reasonable pricing and my local independent garage did the fitting for me.

Regardless of the weather, the Avon 4x4 tyres give great flexibility and perform remarkably well. They have a tread that is rugged enough for difficult terrain, and they're not overly noisy. Additionally, after the passing of my partner, I have had to sell that car after assessing the needs and I am unable to provide a photograph.

Shopping for Mitsubishi Shogun Tyres: FAQ

Tyres.co.uk sells Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV sizes in 265/60 R18 for use on 18-inch wheels of the smaller 2016-2017 Mitsubishi Shoguns. Long wheelbase (LWB) SG4/SG5 models and Short wheelbase (SWB) Barbarian models have different factory-fitted 20-inch wheels, so check the registration before ordering.

Shogun tyre information can be found on the tyre pressure placard located on the driver’s door. It provides the approved specification and pressure of the tyres. Compare these to the sidewall markings on the tyres and the handbook, as specifications may vary, due to the model, trim, and wheel size.

Replacing all four tyres may not always be the case with the Mitsubishi Shogun, but having the Super Select 4 wheel drive system means that all four tyres need to be as similar as possible in terms of size, type, brand and wear. As per UK safety guidance, two matching new tyres should be installed on the rear axle. Please avoid a significant difference in tread throughout the vehicle.
