Kia Sorento Tyres
The Kia Sorento is a big SUV for those who have busy family schedules. Whether you’re making school runs or taking long trips on the motorway, the Sorento has great wet grip, precise steering and stable braking. Sorento tyres can help achieve that and provide everyday efficiency with low road noise and a comfortable suspension that’s ready for the varied everyday road conditions in the UK.
Due to different generations, trim levels, engine options and factory wheel options, most Sorentos do not have the same wheel size. The correct wheel size, load index and speed rating for a specific Sorento can be seen on the sidewall of the existing wheels, in the owner’s manual, or by searching the vehicle’s registration. These specifications play a big part in the vehicle’s handling, comfort and safety.
Drivers of the Kia Sorento can go to Tyres.co.uk and see all the options that match their specification by brand, price, performance, or wet weather grip and long touring comfort over a sporty set-up. After the ideal specifications are chosen, fitting can be arranged at the customer’s preferred location.
Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Verde 235/55R19
The tyres were great, but unfortunately, the wheel alignment was out which resulted in horrible uneven wearing. We had to change the front tyres after only 9 months.

The tyres grip the road well regardless of wet or dry conditions. I do a lot of towing and even field work and I have no complaints. After a year of use, they appear to be wearing down at a reasonable rate.

Kia Sorento tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include 19-inch Michelin e.Primacy 2 and Bridgestone Turanza 6 in the size 235/55 R19 105W XL. Make sure the registration specific fitment is correct. Also consider load and speed index and XL markings.
To check the tyre size and pressure for the Sorento, open the driver’s side door and read the placard on the centre pillar. It shows the tyre size and the pressure as well as the load and speed rating. The size fitted is also marked on the side of each tyre.
It is not necessary to change all four Sorento tyres. You can change two at the front and two at the rear. If all four tyres are changed, they must all be of the same type in size, pattern, brand and load index. Only if two tyres are changed, should the new set be put on the rear axle.
