The Goodyear Eagle NCT5 is designed for summer touring as a tyre for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The Eagle NCT5 combines an asymmetric tread and high silica compound to appropriately deal with wet conditions and also to cater to driving on the motorway. The outer edge of the tread employs larger blocks to deal with cornering loads while the inner side is shaped to evacuate water. ROF indicates the version is a reinforced, side wall version that supports the vehicle after a puncture loss occurs.
Certain versions also carry the BMW star mark and/or the Mercedes-Benz MO mark on the sidewall. This indicates that those versions were made to the respective car manufactures original-equipment specifications.
