UltraGrip Performance+ Tyres description & features

The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ is designed for performance when stopping on cold, wet roads, or on ice and snow. Its winter grip technology consists of a specially formulated compound designed to remain pliable at lower temperatures. The directional tread is comprised of V-shaped channels that push water and pack away slush from the tyre's contact patch with the road. The blocks on the outer edge remain stable during braking and turning due to an external brace. Traction Protect Technology helps the tyre improve is braking contact with wet and dry pavement.

The UltraGrip Performance+ replaces the UltraGrip Performance Gen-1. The UltraGrip Performance+ SUV is its version that is specific to SUVs. The presence of a 3PMSF symbol on its sidewall indicates it snow grip for severe snow service. At Tyres.co.uk, you can find the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+.

They dealt with the winter without problems. I'm using my summer tyres again, but I feel better for next year when it gets warmer. The grip is phenomenal and they last for so long. A great option for winter tyres. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that wants more safety in the winter!

These winter tyres are great, although of course, the performance, responsiveness, and traction of my sporty summer ones cannot be matched by these on the dry road. Under cold and damp conditions, wet, and ice, these tyres also perform and are reliable. Their safety is what matters most, and with top awards and reviews, they are the best all-round choice.

These tyres are excellent for wet, snowy and icy conditions. It's the first time I've had a front-wheel-drive 1 series, which is different from the others, but I'd recommend these for front and rear-wheel-drive cars.

Excellent performance. These offer an obvious improvement in icy and cold weather situations compared to the summer tyres they replaced. However, there is no obvious decline in performance in warmer weather. I am very likely to use these year round and will purchase again.

The tyres work well on the vehicle and provide a sense of safety on the ice and snow. That being said, I would not buy these again. I received four new tyres, all of which have sidewall damage that causes them to fail the MOT. I have never had this problem with my summer tyres. Damaged could be caused by potholes.

I still slide on ice and the braking is about the same as the set of Michelin tyres I used to have on my other SUV. I expected better based on all the reviews and info I read. Overall, it's just a standard winter tyre. Not great, but not terrible either.

I just got the rims fitted on the car because I didn't need them last winter. Right away, I could tell that the car felt more stable. I haven't driven the car in snowy or icy conditions so I can't say for sure, but the rims seem to be good.

There is no clear reason as to why a bump has developed on the side wall of the tyre. Since it is on the drive side, it couldn't be caused by hitting a pothole, but I will unfortunately have to buy a new one. It's really unsafe to keep using it, and I will have to get a new one regardless of how low the mileage is. It could be a defect, but I will need to keep an eye out for the same issues on the other tyres. I hope this is a one-off problem. I believe the garage supplied these tyres.

I haven't tested my new tyres on snow yet, but I'm confident they'll do well. I have tested them on a number of different conditions and they do well on the dry roads and wet roads. I also have a mercedes and I'm really looking forward to driving it in the snow with the new tyres. I'm excited because those are the tyres I picked for all weather conditions.

These tyres are great for cold winter months. My previous winter tyres would work fine in the bad weather, but didn't cope as well as these do for the dry, warmer days. These are different; they do fantastically better than I expected. They will need to be fitted again soon.

Excellent in cold weather conditions. They offer a bit less grip however in damp conditions at 12 degrees. Other than that, can't complain. Used them before in the snow on an Octavia vRS and they were fantastic. Was able to get 40,000 miles on them.
