Mini Coupe Tyres
The Mini Coupé is a small two-seat coupé which offers well mannered and sporty driving due to its bespoke Mini Coupé tyres. Mini Coupé tyres should provide consistent grip in wet conditions with ample braking control due to the unpredictable UK weather. Additionally, a focus on low rolling resistance with good comfort and low noise will assist with economical journeys.
Mini Coupé tyres are model year, trim, engine and factory wheel option dependent, so the individual vehicle requires its bespoke fitment. The correct tyre size, load index and speed rating can be found on the current tyre sidewall, in the vehicle handbook or via the vehicle registration. The correct Mini Coupé tyre will provide balanced handling and ride comfort with safe and consistent performance.
Drivers of the Mini Coupé can quickly find a suitable tyre option on Tyres.co.uk. After selecting a fitment, a local tyre fitting can be booked at a participating garage with no additional charge.
Kumho Ecsta PS71
Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
Enhanced grip on wet surfaces and they are quiet.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 225/35R20
Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

Avon ZV7
Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/40R18
Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/50R17
The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 225/45R17
They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Tyre review for Avon ZV7 215/45R17
Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Tyres.co.uk offers the Michelin Primacy 4 and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 for the Mini Coupe as a factory 16-inch wheel with a tyre size of 195/55 R16 87V. These tyre sizes are used by the S and S D models of the Mini Coupe. Other models of the Mini Coupe, and different configurations of wheels, use different sizes. Ensure that you check your registration, the sidewall of your tyre, and if your vehicle is equipped with run-flats, before purchasing.
The tyre pressure placard found on the driver’s door pillar (when the door is opened) has information about the tyre sizes that are approved for the Mini Coupe and the pressure and load conditions. The sidewall of each of the tyres has the size, load index, speed and run-flat rating.
Mini Coupe owners do not have to replace four tyres as part of a single service. All factory versions are front-wheel drive, so no drive version has a four tyre matching requirement. It is safer and required by law to change tyres in matched axle pairs of the same size and type with new pairs installed to the rear axle of the vehicle.
