When fitted to the car, I bought these to replace the same ones. In both wet and dry conditions, they have a good grip and have shown to be reasonably durable. I have been able to achieve 20,000 miles on the front pair and 22,000 miles on the rear, and this was mostly B road driving all over the UK. For the distance they lasted, I'd say they're economical. Some roads can make them a bit noisy, but it's easily drowned out with the radio.
