Tyres.co.uk offers the CrossClimate 2 SUV and Turanza 6 in 225/55 R18 98V, by Michelin and Bridgestone respectively, for the Subaru Forester XE Premium and Field models. The models with 2.0i Touring require 235/50 R19. Verify the registration, placard load index, and speed rating.
There is a placard on the B-pillar of the driver’s side that includes tyre specifications and tyre pressure for the Subaru Forester. The placard can be viewed when the door is open. There is a list of approved sizes, load indexes, speeds, and pressure. The size of the currently installed tyres is viewable from the sidewall of the tyres and is not necessarily the original size.
Subaru Foresters have Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Subaru says all four must match for size, circumference, speed rating, load index, construction type, brand, tread pattern, and be of the same wear. Subaru recommends replacing all four if matching is not done closely. However, if a matching pair is replaced, according to UK tyre-safety, the new tyres should be placed on the rear axle.
