5/5Continental Sport Contact 5The new tyres are the same as the old ones, just with more tread. The Mercedes C Class does tend to go through tyres fairly quickly. Since it's rear-wheel drive, the back tyres wear evenly, but the front ones have outer edges that tend to wear down a lot faster from the sidewall pressure. Personally, I always choose premium tyres on any car I drive. You may thank me for that decision one day!
1/5Kumho Ecsta PS91It was disappointing for me to learn during my MOT on Tuesday that my front tyres are already 40% worn after a mere 1800 miles. I understand these are budget UHP tyres, but next time I will go for Kumho tyres. They have decent performance in dry conditions but don't do so well in very wet conditions.
