Mercedes C55 AMG Tyres

The Mercedes C55 AMG is a smaller, more powerful performance saloon car from the W203 generation and is powered by a 5.4-litre V8 engine. A good set of Mercedes C55 AMG tyres should provide strong acceleration as well as dependable wet grip, strong braking performance, and stable handling. Drivers should expect enhanced steering and cornering performance from their tyres. However, even within the performance category, you can expect a trade-off. Touring-focused options balance performance with refined comfort.

Mercedes C55 AMG tyre sizes are different depending on the generation, trim, engine, and even the factory wheel option, which is why drivers should consult their existing tyres, handbook, or even registration info. Of course, your tyres must meet the required size, load index, and speed rating to maintain safe operation of your car. Tyres.co.uk not only has all of that information, but also let’s you compare and book convenient local tyre fitting.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
5.00/5
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Compared to Michelin, it is significantly quieter and very good.

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 235/45R18

Still breaking them in but I'm already seeing less skidding on the damp roundabouts!

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 225/40R19
5.00/5
These are run flat tyres, and I chose to stay with the same brand as came with the car. They're not the quietest and could roll better, but your prices were competitive and the garage down the road did a good job fitting them.

Observed a higher amount of noise from the road when driving.

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 225/35R19

The Pirellis are doing really well. They are certainly much better than my last Continentals, especially at providing a more confident feeling at the front when it is raining.

Mercedes C55 AMG Tyres: Everything You Need to Know

For factory staggered fitment of the Mercedes C55 AMG, Michelin Pilot Sport 5 and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport are available at Tyres.co.uk as front 225/40 ZR18 92Y XL and rear 245/35 ZR18 92Y XL. Please confirm your registration and verify the XL build, load index and Y speed rating before placing your order.

The tyre pressure placard for the C55 AMG is located in the right rear fuel filler flap. Please check the sidewalls of the tyres along with the handbook's wheel and tyre table for the C55 AMG's staggered configurations.

The C55 AMG does not require all four tyres to be replaced: all variants are rear wheel drive and there is no 4MATIC variant which would require an all wheel drive match. Match each axle and the staggered configuration; when replacing an axle pair, place the new tyres at the rear.
