255/35 R20 is the low profile front tyre size for the Jaguar F-Type and Aston Martin Vantage. Simple numbers: 255 is the width in mm. 35 is the aspect ratio: 35% of 255mm is 89mm. R20 signifies a radial tyre which is mounted to a 20-inch rim; the overall diameter is 686mm. These cars have a short sidewall which helps the cars turn with minimal tyre flex, but gives the wheel less protection from bumps.
