Tyre review for Bridgestone Potenza Sport 255/35R20 97Y XL
For a summer performance tyre, these provide really good grip even in wet conditions. While they don't last quite as long as a Michelin Pilot Sport 5, they definitely provide a better driving experience with a lot more steering feel. They even come with a good rim protector to help with kerb damage. They also have great off-centre steering feel, mid-corner steering and understeer. They have also managed to keep a lot of comfort on bad roads, despite the sidewall stiffness. I know I'm going to get less rolling resistance and less life from the tyres but I'll take all the increased dynamics and steering adjustability. I've seen similar things on other current and previous Bridgestone UHP tyres. Some tyres that have a higher score in various tests can be less engaging to drive hard.
