Mercedes GLC-Class Tyres

Mercedes GLC-Class owners are looking for performance for vehicle use on both long and short distances. This means that GLC comfort, quietness, better wet grip and braking are key features of GLC-Class tyres. Higher SUVs require good load-bearing capacity and easy handling. Though different generations of GLC-Class have different trim levels, and consequently, different wheel sizes along with various engine types, there is no common fitment. The right GLC-Class tyres should match the size, load index and speed rating of the particular vehicle. This information can be found on the sidewall of the existing tyres, in the vehicle’s handbook, or from the vehicle registration.

Tyres.co.uk gives GLC-Class owners the opportunity to compare different tyre options based on price, performance and brand, in order to choose the tyres that best fit the individual needs. The selected tyres can even be booked for fitting at a nearby garage at a desired time. The intended tyres for fitting are verified against the specifications of the vehicle before the fitting is done.

Excellent traction on the road. The performance is good in rain and is more quieter than the previous.

The tyres were great, but unfortunately, the wheel alignment was out which resulted in horrible uneven wearing. We had to change the front tyres after only 9 months.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2
Tyre review for Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 255/40R20
4.00/5
The tyres are great in any weather. Heavy rain also does not impact cornering and braking. I haven't tested the tyres in deep snow and based on the tread I would expect only average performance.

Because of their value, I have always chosen Dunlop sports. As a mechanic, I have worked with a lot of different tyres and these are by far the best.

The tyres were reasonably priced and compared with the ones originally provided with the vehicle.

The car came fitted with these tyres and, despite the price, I have been very pleased with them. I only changed them as they were flagged on an MOT for some cracking on the sidewalls after six years, despite there still being over 2.5mm of tread remaining. They are great, durable tyres.

FAQs About Mercedes GLC-Class Tyres

Tyres.co.uk has Michelin e.Primacy MO 235/60 R18 103W and Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 SUV 235/60 R18 107V XL for the Mercedes GLC-Class for the 2024 GLC 200 4MATIC on 18-inch factory-fitted wheels. Be sure to check routine maintenance specifications, wheel size and registration before ordering.

To find the Mercedes GLC-Class tyre sizes, refer to the door jamb sticker on the driver's side. This is visible when you open the door. You will need your manual to find the specifications. For the exact size, you will need to refer to the sidewall to find the load index and speed rating.

Replacement of tyres on GLC-Class models does not mean all four tyres are replaced at the same time. Replacements must be of the same type, make and size on each axle, and the factory staggered sets must remain pairs. 4MATIC models require replacement of all four tyres as an even wear on the tyres will still mean that the other three will need to be replaced. When replacing the tyres on one axle, the rear axle will need to have new tyres replaced as well.
