Mercedes M-Class Tyres

Due to the versatility and design of the Mercedes M-Class, family travel and commuting will both be more enjoyable. As such, the Mercedes M-Class will need premium tyres that deliver wet weather grip and an all round stable performance with good braking. A focus on comfort and quiet operation will also be beneficial given the length of some of the journeys.

The required tyres for the Mercedes M-Class will change based on generation and which spec you have. A proper spec will need to include load index, speed rating and size, to maintain the same level of performance, comfort and safety of the original. The correct tyres can be determined by the existing sidewall of the tyre, the vehicle handbook, or the registration papers.

Tyres.co.uk allows for easy online selection of tyres for the Mercedes M-Class based on your preferred criteria of price, brand and performance. After selection, booking of the handy fitting service can be done.

Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
3.00/5
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

More grip overall especially on wet surfaces. Compared to the factory-fitted tyres, braking has improved. There is less noise from the road and the ride is more comfortable.

I am really happy with how they perform. No problems at all in any weather.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate SUV 235/60R18
4.00/5
The tyres seem to wear out at an average/European rate. The pattern appears to have more flex/movement in the actual tread, as if it's bending. They are good in the colder months, but I have yet to test them in any significant snow. Fuel efficiency has decreased slightly by around 2-3%.

I only wear these in winter. They performed decently last year in all the rain.

The grip on these tyres is exceptional. Living in the countryside, I experience unpredictable weather, so the way my car performs in different conditions is really important to me. These tyres grip the road as if a giant hand is holding the car in place.

For the W166 ML 250 BlueTEC 4MATIC and ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC models with 18-inch wheels at Tyres.co.uk for the Mercedes M-Class, tyre options include Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV and Continental PremiumContact 6 in 255/55 R18 109Y XL. Check the registration's load index, speed rating, and specifications before purchasing.

The tyre sizes for the Mercedes M-Class can be found printed on the sidewall of each tyre fitted. The vehicle's Tyre and Loading Information can also be found on the driver's side B-pillar (accessible by swinging open the front door), while the tables for the tyre pressures can be found on the inside of the fuel flap. To find the approved specifications, check the handbook.

It is not necessary for all four tyres to be replaced on the Mercedes M-Class. Mercedes stipulates the same specifications for tyres and wheels; 4MATIC variants must use the approved front-to-rear rolling circumferences, even with a factory stagger. In accordance with UK tyre safety guidance, if replacing a pair of tyres, the new tyres should be fitted to the rear axle.
