Vauxhall Antara Tyres

Vauxhall Antara is a five-door SUV that is fine to use for family trips, the school run and for longer journeys on the road. As a result, Antara tyres must provide good grip and braking on wet roads, as well as good steering and comfort with low noise. The appropriate Vauxhall Antara tyres also aid the vehicle's design as a practical SUV for urban driving and motorway trips.

The Vauxhall Antara has no standard fitment as its tyre sizes differ based on the model year and trim, as well as the engine and factory wheel option. Vauxhall Antara drivers must verify the fitment by checking the existing tyre sidewall, the vehicle manual, or the vehicle registration. This must be done to ensure that the comfort, safety and the intended handling of the specific Antara version is adhered to.

At Tyres.co.uk, Vauxhall Antara drivers can find tyres by comparing brands as well as prices and performance, such as wet weather performance, comfort, and efficiency. Customers can have the tyres they have chosen fitted at a garage that is most convenient to them and is taking part in the local fitment.

Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
3.00/5
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

Works well, but is rather noisy on most roads.

I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

I have had these tyres fitted for about two months, and I have been very impressed by how they have performed. The ride and handling is quiet and much better than my older tyres. They have responded very well to the seasonal weather changes and have kept me safe.

I have been extremely pleased with my experience with the Orium ROAD GO S tyres. During cornering the tyres feel secure and provide great feedback. With around 4,000 miles on them, the tyres are holding up, I am very happy!

I am really happy with how they perform. No problems at all in any weather.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate SUV 235/60R18

The tyres seem to wear out at an average/European rate. The pattern appears to have more flex/movement in the actual tread, as if it's bending. They are good in the colder months, but I have yet to test them in any significant snow. Fuel efficiency has decreased slightly by around 2-3%.

I only wear these in winter. They performed decently last year in all the rain.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
5.00/5
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Vauxhall Antara Tyre Questions Answered

Tyres.co.uk lists tyre options for the Vauxhall Antara, including the Michelin Primacy 5 and the Bridgestone Turanza 6 tyres in size 235/55 R18 100V for the 2014 Exclusiv 4x4 and Diamond 4x4 models. Check the size, load index, and speed rating of the tyres against the registration and door-jamb placard, as the wheel options for Antara differ by trim.

On each fitted tyre, the size for the Vauxhall Antara is located on the sidewall, as well as on the tyre-pressure placard found on the lower front passenger-side door jamb next to the sill. The placard includes approved pressures, and because different factory wheel and tyre combinations were supplied for different registrations, check it against the vehicle registration.

The Vauxhall Antara does not automatically require all four tyres to be changed: dependent on tyre condition, a matched pair on one axle is normally acceptable. All-wheel-drive Antara versions should have consistent tread depth on all four tyres, so keep all four tyres closely matched. If you are replacing two tyres, they should go on the rear axle.
