RainExpert 3 SUV Tyres description & features

The Uniroyal RainExpert 3 SUV is a summer tyre for SUVs. It uses a tread pattern designed to channel standing water to outer edge of the tyre. The outer grooves of the RainExpert 3 SUV are designed with what Uniroyal calls Shark Skin Technology. The Shark Skin Tech surface holds water and pushes it out of the tread when driving over a wet road.

The tyre is designed to support the added weight of SUVs and crossovers along with their full complement of passengers and cargo. The RainExpert 3 SUV is designed for summer use on paved roads and is best used in temperatures above 7 degrees C from spring to fall. Tyres.co.uk sells the Uniroyal RainExpert 3 SUV.

I'm still hoping I can test them properly with some proper Welsh rain. So far they are good in the wet and dry. The big unknown is how long they will last. Time will tell.

I first tested this brand of tyres on my Mondeo Estate and I noticed it made the car quieter and I also got a slight improvement in fuel consumption. On my X-Trail the ride is not only smoother and quieter, but the handling is absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend these tyres. Tyres.co.uk offered me a great deal, £30 - £40 cheaper than other sites and the fitting was done without any problems. I have been a customer of Tyres.co.uk for many years, since the owner was a kid, and I've always been happy.

These tyres still have a good amount of tread left and have been reliable through 20,000 miles, so great performance. I paid a little more than normal, but these tyres are great. I will certainly buy them again for this car.

I fitted these on my four-year-old RextonW to replace the original Kumhos. The noise reduction along with the grip in wet conditions has improved tremendously. These provide a lot of reassurance in heavy rain and on roads with standing water.
