UST 17 Tyres description & features

The Uniroyal UST 17 is designed as an all-weather passenger tyre with a feature to remove water from the tread in wet conditions. The tyre has wide grooves that circulate water away from the contact patch to the road surface. The tread features fine slits that add edges for grip in poor conditions and a block tread that is designed to minimise road noise.

I had the Uniroyal UST 17 tyres put on my car several months ago, and they have really surprised me in a positive way. They provide exceptional traction in wet and dry conditions, and that, in turn, improves my confidence while driving. They are also surprisingly quiet for how much I drive, and this really does help with long road trips. I did a trip last week during rainy weather, and I felt very safe. I would recommend these tyres to anyone looking for a good set.

The grip is decent but not great. In the rain they do fine but sometimes I feel they don't deliver. If I had a larger budget I likely would have chosen something else.
