3/5Dunlop SP SportMaxx GTThese are great tyres for everyday use, offering fantastic grip on the road with minimal noise. They're large, wide, low-profile runflats, which means they are quite likely to sustain sidewall damage if you hit a pothole. In the three years I've owned the car (it's done 23,000 miles since new), I have had to replace all four tyres due to side wall damage. I had my last tyre replaced last week, so I can't comment on their longevity. One of the tyres I had changed had 4mm of tread, which isn't bad for a car of this type after 23,000 miles. I don't think any other brand of tyre would have performed better on these bumpy roads. On the bright side, the runflat feature worked really well as, for all four incidents, I was able to drive slowly to a garage for replacements without being stranded.
4/5Goodyear Ultragrip Performance 3I have felt secure in all weather with these tyres, and they have endured downpours and tricky conditions. They are a little loud on the motorway, but thank goodness, it is not too much. Overall, I have been really happy with the value.

5/5Michelin CrossClimate 2They are satisfactory and provide a strong grip. I've driven with them during snow and heavy rain and I felt safe. I haven't really tested them in dry conditions.
