Vauxhall Agila Tyres

The Vauxhall Agila, from the first to the second generation, is a versatile mini city car and is ideal for short trips to school and other day-to-day tasks. The Agila is designed to use a town and A-road friendly tyre that balances wet grip, braking, and comfort, with low rolling resistance noise and safe stopping and starting.

Each generation, trim and engine variant of the Vauxhall Agila will have a unique requirement for a replacement tyre. The replacement tyre will need to be as closely fit as possible to the approved fitment for that particular Agila. Correct tyre size, load index and speed rating for the Vauxhall Agila will also provide the comfort and safety that the Agila requires. Correct size, load index and speed rating for the Vauxhall Agila will be found in the vehicle’s existing tyre sidewall, owners handbook or via the vehicle’s registration.

Vauxhall Agila owners can visit Tyres.co.uk to learn more about the tyres that are appropriate for their Agila and book a local fitting all from the same site.

Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance
Tyre review for Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 195/60R15

These tyres are okay. It is not really about how long they will last, but the road dangers like potholes, nails, screws, and other crap that is the real issue.

Considering all the potholes we have to avoid and the many speed bumps we have to deal with, I would say these tyres are doing an outstanding job.

They look similar to the budget tyres I have used previously. Perhaps they will last longer. My last cheap ones did 40,000 miles.

I replaced the two rear tyres after doing the front ones and one tyre from the front and back needs to be inflated every 6 to 8 weeks.

So far, they've been great and quieter than I thought they would be.

The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.

Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Due to the reasonable price and load capacity, I fitted them on a twin-axle caravan. I can't comment on durability just yet, but so far, so good.

I am considering replacing them, even though it will be expensive, that's how bad I feel. It is just inaccurate. Forum users mentioned that my car would handle a lot better with this make and model, but that is just not true.

I purchased these tyres for my Ifor Williams trailer, and although I've only done about 200 miles with them, they have been good so far.

Vauxhall Agila Tyres: Help and Advice

If you own a 2008 to 2014 Vauxhall Agila equipped with 15-inch original equipment wheels, then Tyres.co.uk has the ideal products for you in the Michelin Primacy 4 or Bridgestone Turanza T005 in size 185/60 R15 84H. Be sure to check the size, load and speed ratings against the information on the placard located on the driver’s side door.

The location for tyre dimensions for the Vauxhall Agila is given by the tyre pressure placard in the door opening. For 2008 to 2014 models of the Agila, the placard is located on the driver’s side door pillar. For 2000 to 2007 models, the placard is located on an adhesive sticker on the inner door frame. This placard contains approved sizes and pressures, and load information.

Given the Vauxhall Agila is front wheel drive, the replacement tyres need not be all four. The tyres on the front and rear axles do not have to match each other, and you may replace a matching pair on the same axle as long as you have the correct characteristics. When replacing two tyres, place the matching pair on the rear axle.
