Tyre review for Nankang Econex NA-1
175/80R14Having been disappointed with both Bridgestone and Goodyear, I chose Nankang NA-1s to replace the expensive Bridgestone front tyres on my BMW i3. While the premium tyres usually last longer, my Bridgestone tyres only lasted two years before they started cracking and deteriorating much quicker than I expected. Trying to save some money, I opted for the Nankang NA-1s and they have actually exceeded my expectations. After a few hundred miles, I was so impressed that I also replaced the rear tyres with Nankangs. The drive is much smoother, the grip is noticeably better, and the road noise is much quieter than the premium tyres I used to have. It may be too early to tell how long they will last but I have really enjoyed them and would buy them again without hesitation.
