The Nankang AW-6 is a directional V-pattern all-weather tyre designed for use in wet weather and with good winter traction. The AW-6 carries M+S and 3PMSF designations and features a directional 4-channel layout that removes water from the centre of the tread/stops it from moving to the centre and directs it to the outer edge of the tyre. The tread has an array of 3D micro-dots in the blocks to aid traction in winter and snow, and a flexible silica winter compound rubber to aid in low winter snow traction.
The AW-6 is mud and snow rated and has also met the requirements for the 3PMSF snow grip regulation. The directional tread will have the rotation arrow on the side wall fitted to the correct rotation with the channels facing the intended direction for drainage.
