Citroen 2 CV6 Tyres

The Citroen 2CV6 is a lightweight classic version of the 2CV which is ideal for relaxed local driving and for country roads and leisurely tours. Citroen 2 CV6 tyres should ensure a comfortable low noise ride and good wet grip, as well as progressive braking, to go along with the long travel suspension. A tyre that is suited to the Citroen 2CV6 design and construction will help maintain its trademark easy-going road manners. Citroen 2 CV6 tyres will differ depending on generation, model year, trim, engine, and factory wheel options so there won't be one size or specification that will fit them all. This can be verified by looking at the tyre's sidewall, the vehicle handbook, or the registration details. The Citroen 2 CV6 that is the correct size, load index, and speed rating will be comfortable, and safe, and will allow for everyday use. Tyres.co.uk allows Citroen 2CV6 owners to compare the available tyres by brand, price, and performance information before booking a local tyre fitting.

Due to the reasonable price and load capacity, I fitted them on a twin-axle caravan. I can't comment on durability just yet, but so far, so good.

I am considering replacing them, even though it will be expensive, that's how bad I feel. It is just inaccurate. Forum users mentioned that my car would handle a lot better with this make and model, but that is just not true.

I purchased these tyres for my Ifor Williams trailer, and although I've only done about 200 miles with them, they have been good so far.

Country roads in the Scottish highlands can be a bit of a challenge. However, I think I've solved most problems with my new tyres. They're so much better for cornering and braking, especially when it's raining, and they feel grippy enough to hold on to the road. I've also noticed that my car handles a lot better, and the tyres didn't break the bank either. I am very pleased with my decision.

Buying Citroen 2 CV6 Tyres: Your Questions Answered

Tyres.co.uk has the Michelin X 125 R15, Nankang CX-668 and Toyo 310 in 135/80 R15 as period replacement options for the factory-fitted Michelin X 125 R15. However, please be careful when ordering. Classic cars, especially, may have aftermarket modifications that may be non-standard. Please confirm the wheel, load and speed ratings before placing an order.

The factory tyre pressure placard for the Citroen 2CV6 is located on the inside, lower side of the driver's door, just under the door check strap. The placard has some inflation guidance, but to get the full tyre markings, you need to check the sidewall of the tyre, and the owner's manual should also be referenced as aftermarket changes can affect what is fitted.

Because the Citroen 2CV6 is front-wheel drive, only the front wheels need to be replaced. For safety reasons, when you replace tyres, do so as an axle pair, and when you fit two new tyres, UK advice is to fit them on the rear axle.
