The Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 is a maximum-performance summer tyre. With Michelin’s Bi-Compound technology, the Exalto 2 builds its tread design with two rubber compounds in each tyre’s tread. Larger outer edge blocks of tread are supported with outer edge body design and longitudinal grooves. The inner edge blocks are supported with the design and the outer edge sipes. The sipes incorporate a slotted wave design.
As the sipes close with braking and acceleration, the wave design’s walls lock the outer edge blocks. The Pilot Exalto 2’s design feature, Variable Contact Patch, allows for optimal contact with 15% more rubber on the road in a bend, and, as a result, up to 15% more grip. The Pilot Exalto 2 was the predecessor to the Pilot Sport 3. We sell the Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 at Tyres.co.uk.
