The Michelin Agilis+ is a summer van tyre needing to tackle kerb strikes and designed for the tough demands of urban delivery routes. It has Protected Sidewalls and combines a truck-derived tread compound with sidewall protection. From Michelin's truck tyres, the anti-abrasion tread compound even scuffs from the numerous demands of delivery including breaks, being loaded, and sharp turns. Michelin's Carcass Protection Shield provides a protective layer of rubber along the Sidewall to provide protection against kerb strikes.
Michelin claims Agilis+ has around a 16% increase in mileage over the Michelin Agilis. In the same comparison, Michelin claims an 8% reduction in the distance required for wet braking. Reinforced XL construction is an available option for vans with an even heavier load.
