Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4
255/35R19These are winter tyres. In the summer, I usually go with Pirelli P Zero. Choices for winter tyres are few and far between for this size and customers are often met with sticker shock. Because of the height and width of the tyres, they are not ideal for winter conditions. Surprisingly, they performed great for their first winter season. I drive a sports car and plan on using it during the bad weather, not on days with terrible road conditions, of course. In really cold weather, winter tyres are absolutely a necessity. Just know, if you buy these tyres like I did, the front tyres are smaller with a different tread pattern. It's not a mistake, but it's certainly something I haven't experienced before with all my years of buying tyres.
