Lotus Exige Tyres

Due to its lightweight and its two-seat, rear mid-engine, Lotus Exige is an example of a performance car. Lotus Exige tyres should be designed for its performance-centred chassis. In changing UK weather, tyres should have a strong grip, as well as good braking, to ensure a confident drive. Performance and design focused tyres, also, can help with handling while on driving excursions and when utilising the car on track days.

Each generation of Lotus Exige can have different sized tyres, as well as tyres based on trim, engine, and factory wheels. Correct Lotus Exige tyres must match the sizes, load index, and speed rating that are approving for the vehicle. The tyres are a part of the comfort and safety for the vehicle. The vehicle's handbook, the registration details, or the tyre sidewall can confirm the tyre fitment for the vehicle prior to purchase.

Tyres.co.uk shows Lotus Exige owners tyres based on brand and price, and lets them know the performance before they book the fitting at a local tyre shop. This serves to help the drivers determine what road performance tyres are necessary to be in specifications for the vehicle between road performance and specifications.

Wonderful, I always put Michelin on my Porsche as they are the best tyres for it, plus they have the Porsche 'N' rating.

While I would recommend them, I would advise caution in the wet as they can skid. On the dry however, they are fantastic.

I do not think these tyres perform well and am surprised at them being marketed as suitable for track days. There was little grip and at Brands Hatch the tyres squealed on a dry surface. I went to Snetterton today where the conditions were wet to dry and I almost decided to call it a day because the tyres were not worth it. I think they are only fit to be summer road tyres. I am really disappointed by them.

In dry conditions, perform brilliantly. When wet, proceed with caution.

An excellent choice for grip on the track, albeit a bit pricier and a bit more prone to wear than a comparable Goodyear option.

They are not very good in wet conditions since they are made for track use.

Due to track day use, this is unsuitable for the front of a JCW. The front left came apart after 128 miles. The wet traction is terrible because the damp conditions provide no traction.

I read some great reviews and decided to buy some Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres for my road-legal track car, a Mazda RX8. These tyres offer great dry road handling and responsiveness just like other ultra-high-performance tyres that I have experienced. I won't be testing these tyres on wet roads and I suspect that they may not perform will on wet roads based on my assumption of their tread design. On the track these tyres excel. I specifically compared these tyres Cup2s with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports and noted a small but confident improvement in stability and grip. I would track recommend track use.

My main use for these tyres is sprints and track days. When it comes to dry weather conditions, they are absolutely superb, however, when it comes to wet or damp conditions, I fear the risk too much when I am pushing my Porsche Cayman S to the limit. On average roads, they are decent but I am considering going for something a bit more durable next time, maybe a Pirelli Trofeo.
