Tyre review for Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS 225/40R18
While I would recommend them, I would advise caution in the wet as they can skid. On the dry however, they are fantastic.

Tyre review for Yokohama Advan Neova AD08RS 225/40R18
I do not think these tyres perform well and am surprised at them being marketed as suitable for track days. There was little grip and at Brands Hatch the tyres squealed on a dry surface. I went to Snetterton today where the conditions were wet to dry and I almost decided to call it a day because the tyres were not worth it. I think they are only fit to be summer road tyres. I am really disappointed by them.

In dry conditions, perform brilliantly. When wet, proceed with caution.

I have used these tyres before as they were on the car when I purchased it, and they do their job as expected. That said, there are some cracks along the centre of the tread.

The supercharged Lotus Elise has these tyres. They were reliable at my most recent track day. They showed little to no fading and grip loss. A bit of graining at the end of the day meant that I had a great time! Even after 40 minutes of full power on the track, the tyres were consistent.

Tyre and load information for the Lotus Elise is located on the driver's door jamb when the door is opened. You can also do this by looking at the tyre sidewalls and the Technical Data section of the owner's handbook. For factory front and rear specifications use the placard or the owner's handbook as different Elise models were made.
Unlike most other cars, replacing all four Lotus Elise tyres is not necessary, since almost every Elise model is rear wheel-drive. There is no four-wheel-drive drivetrain to consider. Replace tyres in pairs on each axle with the same size, type, and specification. In line with the UK's tyre safety recommendations, when replacing only two tyres, the new tyres should be fitted on the rear axle.
