The Yokohama Advan Sport V105 is an ultra-high-performance summer tyre with an emphasis on high-speed steering for performance cars. The V105 uses a silica-rich tread compound, and thanks to Yokohama’s Orange Oil technology, uses orange oil for flexibility in rubber. The asymmetric tread design has large cornering blocks with water channels in the tread running from the front to the back in addition to 4 central grooves. The V105 uses Matrix Body Ply, Yokohama’s casing design which balances load pressure, and helps the tyre maintain its shape for improved performance at speed.
The V105 has some versions with sidewall markings of MO, Mercedes-Benz’s, and N0, Porsche’s sidewall approval, which indicates the tyre was made to conform to each Maker’s Regulation; it is recommended the same markings are used to replace original-equipment tyre.
