The Yokohama Geolandar G95A is a summer SUV tyre used by Mazda as OEM for the CX-5. It features a design to enhance performance on paved surfaces. The tread design has longitudinal grooves to channel water away from the tread centre. Cross water escape channels are located on the ribs. An uninterrupted central section enhances stability for high speed driving. The tyre casing has been designed for the higher weight and taller stature of an SUV.
The G95A has been primarily fitted in the CX-5 in the sizes of 225/65 R17 and 225/55 R19. Hence, replacement tyres must conform to the required sidewall size, load index, and speed rating of the vehicle.
