The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V102 is a high-performance summer tyre designed to give an edge to performance vehicles. The ADVAN Sport V102 utilises advanced tyre technology to provide superior handling and cornering response. The tread design uses an asymmetric pattern to enhance handling with a continuous centre rib and large outer blocks. To improve performance in the rain and reduce aquaplaning, the ADVAN Sport V102 features dual steel belts, front-to-back and side-to-side grooves, and lateral notches. For structural integrity at high speeds, the V102 uses two steel belts with nylon cap plies.
ADVAN Sport moved to the V103 after the V102. The V103 is designed to fit the specifications of Porsche and Mercedes-Benz; therefore, the V103 has the N0 and MO designations, which indicate a Porsche approval and a Mercedes-Benz approval, respectively.
