According to Tyres.co.uk, the Seat Altea XL offers two options for 16-inch wheels: the Michelin Primacy 5 and the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2. The two options share a common size, 205/55 R16 91V. Before placing an order, make sure the tyre size, load index, speed rating, and any XL requirement on the label of the fuel filler cap line up with the vehicle specifications and the registration.
The Seat Altea XL tyre size is given on the tyre pressure label inside the fuel filler flap. This label has the approved specifications of wheels and tyres, as well as the recommended cold inflation pressure. Please make sure to check the markings on the sidewall of the tyre.
On front-wheel drive Seat Altea XL models you only need to replace a pair on one axle. On four-wheel drive versions all four should be replaced together so they stay matched, and where only two are new, UK safety guidance is to fit them to the rear axle.
