The sidewall of each tyre clearly denotes the size of Volkswagen Polo GTI tyres. Factory approved fitment has a different location and can be found on the tyre pressure placard, located on the inside of the fuel-filler flap. This placard states approved tyres, wheels, and pressures as well as the spare tyre pressure. Since there are various wheel options on Polo GTIs, confirm that the placard you reference is for your specific registration.
For any of the Volkswagen Polo GTIs, there is no requirement to replace all four tyres. Since no Polo GTI variant has an all-wheel-drive system, there is no need to have a matched set of all four tyre replacement. When replacement of tyres on an axle is possible, do tyre replacement of that axle as a pair. It is recommended to fit the two new tyres on the rear axle and move the better pair to the front of the vehicle.
