Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

These tyres grip well in wet and dry conditions due to using quite a soft rubber mix. They are significantly quieter than my last set. Although they do tend to wear out a little quicker because of the soft compound, I think the lifespan is still reasonable considering the price. I would say they are worth the money.

Volkswagen E-Golf Tyres: Common Questions

Volkswagen E-Golf tyre options at Tyres.co.uk include Michelin e.Primacy and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2 in 205/55 R16, the standard low-rolling-resistance fitment on UK E-Golf models. Confirm the registration result and driver's-door placard before ordering, because the required load index, speed rating and specification must match the vehicle.

Each tyre fitted on Volkswagen E-Golf will have the tyre size printed on the sidewall. On the driver's door pillar, the tyre pressure and specification placard is next to the door frame. You can check both before ordering because the required specifications may vary based on wheel options.

Due to the Volkswagen E-Golf being front-wheel drive, all four tyres do not need to be replaced at the same time. In fact, no E-Golf drivetrain versions require all wheels to match their tyre specifications. Therefore, tyres can be replaced on axle pairs; if only two new tyres are fitted, then in accordance with UK tyre-safety guidelines, they should be placed on the rear axle.
