Volkswagen Touareg Tyres
The Volkswagen Touareg premium SUV has confident levels of everyday road use and motorway travel, as well as seating the family on long trips. Volkswagen Touareg tyres will have to provide balanced levels of wet braking and steering response, plus help this more substantial SUV manage safe responses in all varying weather conditions in the UK. Comfort levels can be improved by low road noise and rolling resistance. This can be a great help for long-distance trips.
Volkswagen Touareg tyres are usually offered as original equipment. This means owners of the vehicle will need to have the correct tyres fitted, as these will vary depending on the exact size, load index and speed rating for the replacement tyres. The existing tyre sidewall, vehicle handbook or registration documents can confirm details of the approved specification.
Buying tyres from Tyres.co.uk gives Volkswagen Touareg drivers the ability to check relevant options by brand, price and performance ratings before they use them, as a priority, to perform safe responses to all varying conditions in the UK. They can then choose to book fitments at convenient times at fitting centres located nearby.
Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

Works well, but is rather noisy on most roads.

Tyre review for Avon ZX7 215/65R17
I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

Michelin CrossClimate SUV

The harsh winter was handled exceptionally well. Grip is good even with only a 2WD.

I am really happy with how they perform. No problems at all in any weather.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate SUV 235/60R18
The tyres seem to wear out at an average/European rate. The pattern appears to have more flex/movement in the actual tread, as if it's bending. They are good in the colder months, but I have yet to test them in any significant snow. Fuel efficiency has decreased slightly by around 2-3%.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate SUV 235/60R18
I only wear these in winter. They performed decently last year in all the rain.

At Tyres.co.uk, tyre options for the Volkswagen Touareg include the Pirelli Scorpion (S3) and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 SUV in size 255/55 R19 111W XL, which are compatible with the factory 19-inch wheels of the third-generation Touareg. Please verify the registration against the door label, as other wheel options for the Touareg may have different approved specifications.
To find the Volkswagen Touareg tyre-size specifics, see the tyre-pressure placard on the driver's door jamb or pillar; you'll have to open the driver's door. The label shows the cold pressures and approved tyre sizes. As factory wheel options differ, it is advised that you confirm it against the tyre sidewall and registration.
While Volkswagen Touareg may not automatically require four new tyres, its 4MOTION four-wheel-drive system requires specific approved tyre size, construction and rolling circumference. These parameters must remain closely matched on all four wheels. Where wear prevents this, replace all four; otherwise replace a matching pair and position the new tyres on the rear axle.
