5/5Continental All Season Contact 2I wanted an All Season tyre for the correct ones when driving in Europe during winter. I picked these because of the fuel economy "A" rating, which you don't often find with All Season tyres, and with fuel prices going up, it made sense. They also have good grip and noise ratings. I think they warrant the cost, and although they don't sit at the bottom of the price bracket, I'm happy with them on my VW Touran. I think my fuel consumption has decreased, the road noise is fine (didn't notice an increase and they're not quieter than my previous tyres which were quiet), and the grip and handling are more than adequate.

5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
