The Michelin CrossClimate SUV is an all-weather tyre, designed with 3PMSF traction for winter weather. With a directional ‘V’ shaped tread, water is displaced from the tyre. With rigid outer edge tread, the Michelin CrossClimate SUV can handle the added weight from the higher centre of gravity of an SUV. As the tyre rolls, the 3D sipes create edges for traction and slush and snow and then dry road sipes slip interlock to keep the tread pattern intact.
The Michelin CrossClimate SUV has a 3PMSF marking, which is the requirement for severe snow conditions. The SUV Casing is designed for the higher loads of SUVs. Michelin then replaced the CrossClimate SUV with the CrossClimate 2 SUV. The Michelin CrossClimate SUV is available at Tyres.co.uk.
