Audi Q5 Tyres

The Audi Q5 is an SUV designed for family trips, daily commutes, and long drives on the motorway. The Audi Q5 tyres should exhibit wet grip, provide comfort, allow for a greater control of braking, and provide a greater counterbalance to road noise. Specific treads should enhance the rolling resistance of the tyre. As an SUV, its approved tyres should meet the specifications for its weight and purpose.

Tyre sizes on the Audi Q5 should cater for the different generations, years, trims, engines, and OEM wheel options. Therefore, the Q5 cannot have a blanket fitment. The right Audi Q5 tyre sizes can be found by looking up the required tyre load index and speed rating. This information can be found on the tyre side wall, vehicle manual, or vehicle registration.

Tyres.co.uk provides a selection of tyres for the Audi Q5, wherein the customer can select from brands, prices and performance specifications, and subsequently book an installation fitting at a local participating garage.

Excellent traction on the road. The performance is good in rain and is more quieter than the previous.

The tyres were great, but unfortunately, the wheel alignment was out which resulted in horrible uneven wearing. We had to change the front tyres after only 9 months.

Avon ZX7
Tyre review for Avon ZX7 245/45R19
3.00/5
As the fitter stated, the Avons began to crack at the bottom of the grooves at about 15,000 miles, despite having plenty of tread. I have now returned to Michelin Crossclimate 2, which I was unable to obtain previously.

I have no complaints about the tyres, they are meeting expectations. Seems like the same tyres as the Continentals I had before.

The tyres were reasonably priced and compared with the ones originally provided with the vehicle.

Tyre review for Michelin Latitude Sport 3 255/45R20

The car came fitted with these tyres and, despite the price, I have been very pleased with them. I only changed them as they were flagged on an MOT for some cracking on the sidewalls after six years, despite there still being over 2.5mm of tread remaining. They are great, durable tyres.

Even in hot weather, I see no signs of wear on these tyres, so I trust their grip and comfort. It's like getting ready for a wedding, you wouldn't want to ruin a nice suit with a pair of old shoes.

I needed only one tyre, and it is performing well.

Tyre review for Goodyear Excellence 235/65R17

Honestly, I would say they do pretty well in all conditions. My biggest problem is how the car seems to drift without me steering, and the front steering goes completely out of my control. This is much worse on A and B roads, although strangely doesn't happen on motorways. I did also get a four-wheel alignment done when the tyres were changed, so I doubt that is the reason. Most of the time I would imagine you would have a decently high level of confidence in a performance tyre, so its really making me wonder if the same set is going to cause problems again. Is it possible this is related to the tyres looking unbalanced when viewed from the front or the back of the car?

These tyres are doing quite well and I should get around 40,000 miles from them.

Buying Audi Q5 Tyres Online: FAQ

Tyres.co.uk lists Bridgestone Turanza 6 and Pirelli Scorpion Verde options as choices for Audi Q5 2024 55 TFSI e quattro with factory 18” wheels. They are available in 235/60 R18 107W XL. Please ensure you have the correct specification for your registration and door labels before purchasing as other Audi Q5 variants may have other size, load index and speed rating configurations.

The size and pressure of Audi Q5 tyres is indicated on the driver-side B-pillar tyre pressure label, located on the B-pillar. This label indicates the approved combination of wheels and tyres and their prescribed pressure. The tyre sidewall and the vehicle handbook offers further confirmation.

Tyres for Audi Q5 do not always need to be replaced in a set of four, however, for the quattro models, tyres must have the same rolling circumference and tyres with a large difference in tread depth must not be used. In the event a set of tyres cannot be bought to meet the criteria, all four must be replaced. For installations of two new tyres, it is advised by the UK guidance on car safety that these tyres are fitted to the rear axle.
