Audi A2 Tyres

The Audi A2 has a convenient city layout, but also has what it takes for comfortable long-distance travel. Therefore the A2 should have tyres with excellent grip and stopping power, but also offer a smooth quiet ride over all surfaces.

Tuning a tyre setup for each generation of Audi A2 is a must, since they have so many trim options, engines, and years. The most updated information can be found on the car's current sidewall, the owner’s manual, and the registration record. The right size, load rating and speed rating will be key to make sure your A2 is safe on the road.

The Audi A2 drivers at Tyres.co.uk can find a variety of choices in brands, prices, and performance to increase grip in the rain. Tyres can be scheduled to be fitted as well at a local shop. The daily drive will be safer with confidence when improved wet weather performance is used.

I know it's early for a full assessment but they seem to be improving as they get more accustomed. When starting off, they're not that grippy, but they corner well. No problems with wet weather. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase at this stage.

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Shopping for Audi A2 Tyres: FAQ

At Tyres.co.uk, you can buy Continental and Firestone tyres in the size 175/60 R15 81V for your Audi A2's 15-inch factory wheels. Since other models of the A2 might have different factory wheels, make sure you consider the size of your wheels and check the Load Index and Speed Rating in your registration. The size of your wheels is stated on the placard.

The A2 has its factory information printed on the sidewall of the tyre. The factory placard has the approved combinations of wheels and tyres with the corresponding monthly air pressure. It also contains the information on the B-pillar in the door frame of the driver's side. For a tyres and wheels replacement, use your handbook, as it contains information that can help you verify the fit.

Since the A2 does not have quattro, you do not need all four tyres to be in a matching set. Replace tyres as a matching pair on the same axle. When fitting two new tyres to a set, install them on the rear with matching size, construction, load rating, and speed rating.
