The Continental UltraContact NXT summer tyre features advanced technology and premium quality. Its use of virgin fossil fuel-based material is lessened and it achieves A ratings in wet grip, fuel efficiency, and external noise. Its casing is made from recycled PET plastic bottles and polyester yarn thanks to Continental’s ContiRe.Tex. The tread uses recycled rubber, silica, and rice husk ash. They are combined with bio-based resins and paper and wood industry residue.
According to Continental, selected sizes of this tyre have up to 65% renewable, recycled, and ISCC PLUS mass-balance certified materials. The Continental UltraContact NXT is the first product launched in all 19 sizes that have A ratings in wet grip, fuel efficiency, and external noise on the EU tyre label. It is a newly launched product from Continental and its release year is 2023. At Tyres.co.uk, we stock this new tyre.
