The Continental WinterContact TS 860 S SUV is a performance winter tyre and has been designed based on the braking and cornering demands of powerful SUVs. It features the new Cool Chili compound providing increased grip on cold and wet roads. Continental's WinterContact TS 860 S uses Cool Chili to great effect, as the outer tread blocks of its asymmetric tread design are large and support cornering. The inner tread blocks of the design contain thin slits, and are closely spaced to support snow traction. The tyre features Snow Curve+ technology, which consists of small channels that trap and retain snow.
This tyre has taken the place of ContiWinterContact TS 850 P SUV in Continental's winter performance product line of SUV tyres. The tyre also features a 3PMSF that certifies this SUV winter tyre meets the minimum requirements for snow grip.
