The Continental PremiumContact 7 summer tyre is designed to excel at wet braking and features an A wet-grip rating in all sizes. The PremiumContact 7 is built with Continental’s RedChili braking compound which has excellent cold-start grip. The Adaptive Pattern Stiff outer shoulder dry cornering and resolve wet braking in the summer. PremiumContact 7 is designed to hold under steering due to the outer shoulder braking blocks.
PremiumContact 7 is the first major redesign of the PremiumContact since the 6 in 2023. The PremiumContact 7 is estimated to provide an 8% improvement in wet braking, 7% in dry braking, and a 10% increase in tyre life over the PremiumContact 6, while also providing a 12% improvement, in overall performance, in rolling resistance.
