Lexus GS 300 Tyres

Lexus GS 300 drivers want tyres that deliver reliable grip and braking in all weather conditions as well as comfort and low noise on the road. Tyres designed for long-distance driving will meet the needs of urban and motorway driving. These tyres will also perform well on UK roads as they will rapidly clear water from the tread.

To meet the differing needs of the various Lexus GS 300 models, there is no single tyre that is right for all Lexus GS 300s. The right Lexus GS 300 tyres need to match the manufacturer’s guidelines for size, load index and speed rating. This information is on the sidewall of the tyre, in the owner’s manual and can also be found online. Using the right tyres will also support braking and riding comfort.

Tyres.co.uk allows drivers of the Lexus GS 300 to evaluate tyres that are available to these models based on their price and performance. This service is then followed by the ability to easily book a tyre fitting at a convenient location.

Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5)
Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 5) 225/50R17
5.00/5
I feel great. The wear seems to be even and they have plenty of tread remaining. I was a little worried about having a hybrid because the batteries make it a little heavier.

Kumho Ecsta PS71
Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 255/40R17
5.00/5
Initially, the tyres were fitted during pleasant weather, and they impressed us with their grip and silence. They were much better than the cheap ones we had before. Now, with the cold snap, they are also handling brilliantly with ice, so we look forward to seeing how they will do when the snow comes.

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS71 225/35R20
5.00/5
Great traction on wet and dry surfaces and the tread holds up well. They could be slightly noisier than the Pirelli ones I had before, though the better performance compensates for that.

Fits the rim well, and is mid-range quality and pricing.

The existing tyres are doing an adequate job but my expectations for how long the front tyres would last were higher. Most of my driving is local, and there are a lot of roundabouts in this area.

They are beautiful tyres, and they help me to be confident and calm when driving. If only the roads were built to the same standard!

Avon ZV7 tyres provide excellent performance on the wet country roads and the rainy weather where I drive. They help with fuel economy and last a long time before needing to be changed. I feel confident driving on them and plan to put them on the back of my car soon. They are great value for a mid-range tyre.

Steering is more direct and has better grip, while stopping is also good.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4 195/55R16

Better traction of these tyres gives them better stopping distance. Previous tyres, of the same brand, had more than 2mm of tread, yet their stopping distance was clearly worse.

Lexus GS 300 Tyres: What Drivers Ask

Check to make sure your order is complete for registration, placard load and speed rating, and if the 2005 GS300 and GS300 SE models have the 17-inch wheels instead of the SE-L 18-inch wheels. The possible tyre options for the Lexus GS 300 at Tyres.co.uk are the Michelin CrossClimate 3 and the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 2, both in 225/50 R17 94W.

You will find the Lexus GS 300 tyre size and pressure placard on the driver's door post where it will be visible when the door is opened. It shows the original equipment tyres and their cold pressures. Remember to use this placard for your exact car, as GS 300 wheels and trim levels vary.

Usually, you don't have to replace all four Lexus GS 300 tyres at the same time. Replaced tyres should be done on an axle pair basis. In this case, it is preferred to fit the new axle pair tyres to the rear axle. The GS 300 AWD tyres, however, must all be replaced at the same time with like equivalent tyres in size, brand, tread pattern and tread depth. If an equivalent match cannot be achieved, all four tyres must be replaced.
