WinterContact TS 850 P SUV is designed for SUVs and optimises braking on wet roads and provides better snow traction. Each of these is good for performance when external temperatures are under 7 degrees Celsius. ActiveBand technology is Continental's technology that forms a glassy resin which dampens when the tyre comes in contact with the road to improve braking on wet roads. The tread design provides snow traction and braking with closely spaced blocks and fine slits and a S-GRIP design. The casing is strengthened to accommodate the higher Centre of Gravity of SUVs.
In this variation, PrecisionPlus technology increases the tread blocks and slits in the design to maintain responsiveness in cornering and braking. This was the last iteration before Continental replaced it with the WinterContact TS 870 P SUV. The reinforced XL versions have XL on the sidewall. At Tyres.co.uk, we have the reinforced versions and the Continental WinterContact TS 850 P SUV. We stock the Continental Winter Contact TS850P SUV at Tyres.co.uk.
