Continental CrossContact is a half-road half-off-road tyre, ideal for dealing with tarmac and off-road driving. Its tread design has block stabilisation on the outer edges for braking and steering on-road and a smooth central tread. Flat tread design is said to improve tread life, and CrossContact AT is made with Continental’s high-mileage design brief in mind.
CrossContact AT comes with the M+S marking on the sidewall, indicating a mud and snow application. This actually refers to the tyre’s use on loose surfaces and the road. CrossContact ATR has replaced the CrossContact AT in Continental’s offering dedicated to mixed surface applications. Tyres.co.uk has CrossContact AT in stock.
